NexGen Kid's Dance Camp

NexGen is a new and fun dance camp that teaches social dancing skills to the Next Generation!

This summer dance camp focuses on building CONFIDENCE, fostering social CONNECTION, promoting RESPECT, and having FUN—all through the power of dance. Campers of various skill levels come together to learn different dance styles in a supportive, inclusive environment. The camp offers a mix of structured lessons, group activities, and performance, encouraging kids to express themselves while developing new skills. Emphasis is placed on teamwork, respect for others, and personal growth, helping campers form lasting friendships and build self-esteem. ​​

 

2025 CAMP DATES AND INFO:

All camps will include an hour-by-hour schedule, games, choreography, play and learning!

• Urban: 6/09-6/13 - Includes elements of Hip Hop, breakdancing, line dancing, urban music history and musicality.​​​​​​​

​

​

• Fusion: 8/04-8/08 - Includes elements of Latin, Ballroom, Hip Hop, music history and musicality.

Time: M-F, 9AM-3PM

​

Age Range: 7-17

​

Location: Nexus Ballroom, inside the SLO Public Market

Cost: $300 per week

​

Attire: Comfortable, casual, exercise

​

Lunch: Students should bring their own lunch and water bottle each labeled with thier name
